The opening Group B clash between reigning UEFA Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles drew the largest crowd at 80,619. Real Madrid's match against Mexico's Pachuca in Charlotte drew the second-largest attendance with 70,248.
144: The 48 matches played across 12 venues in the United States produced 144 goals, averaging three per match.
72: Players from 72 countries or regions featured during the group stage. Brazil (91 players) and Argentina (73) led all nations in representation. Portugal (32) was the most represented European country, while Mexico (26), Morocco (22), New Zealand (22) and South Korea (18) led their respective confederations.
